British Muslims speak up

It was refreshing to see the Muslim Council of Britain speak out for a non Muslim. The council, which normally criticises British people’s lack of understanding of Islam said:

“This is a very unfortunate incident and Ms Gibbons should never have been arrested in the first place. It is obvious that no malice was intended,”Dr Muhammad Abdul Bari, Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Britain.

Spot on, the whole incident defies belief, even for Sudan.
