The BNP might be racist, but are they the only option?

Nick Griffin: Barmy and not helped by his mad eyed look

BBC NEWS | Politics | Griffin complaint over BBC ‘mob’

BNP leader Nick Griffin is to complain to the BBC over his controversial appearance on Question Time, saying he had faced a “lynch mob”.

I have to admit that this was the strangest question time that I have ever seen, and also the most compelling.

I cannot have been the only one wondering what the crazy one-eyed racist was going to do, and then, when it was clear that Gordon Brown was not going to try and block Question Time, what Griffin would do.

Was it a lynch mob? Of course, but then what did Nick Griffin expect? Whether he believes that he was hard done by and it was biased, these were the questions that the public wanted answering.

The Racist

In the end Griffin came across and a slightly bonkers, babbling buffoon. By the end he seemed to become more and more unhinged and was almost frothing at the mouth. Initially the man came across like the unpopular kid at school, desperately trying to get in with the cool gang by laughing at their jokes, hanging around and behaving in a generally awkward and unsettling manner.

He was shaking at the off and looked terrified, but then, this wasn’t the usual working men’s club full of uneducated underclass, this was the big table. His lies, such as denying he said things, when the video footage was clearly available, and deflecting questions, weren’t going to wash here, and that appeared to be what worried him.

It was a poor performance overall and he managed to demonstrate that his moderate stance was a façade, merely hiding his deep seated hatred. The BBC must have been rubbing their hands in glee when they placed him next to black intellectual, Bonnie Greer, a person who, under Griffin’s true White Supremacist views, cannot exist.

That said, despite his views the monster behaved and treated Greer as an equal. The same cannot be said of Greer who thought it appropriate to turn her back on him throughout the programme, clearly under the impression that being disrespectful to someone because of their views, is different from being disrespectful to someone because of their colour. Prejudice is prejudice and it was clearly an ill thought out move on the part of Greer.

In Britain, at least in my day, we were brought up to respect the views of others, even if we disagreed with them, and treating someone with contempt merely because of their views is wrong. I would never do the same to a Global Warming nut.

Culture

Youseff Bashir and people like him hate Britain, its culture and all it stands for

Despite all Griffin’s failings, his ravings, his inexplicable fits of laughter and disturbed appearance, had he changed ‘race’ to culture, I would have agreed with most of what he said. Does that make me a racist? Moreover, do I care – no. If protecting my culture upsets others – tough, their culture is no doubt protected elsewhere, mine is not. There is a creeping realisation in Britain, predominately but not exclusively amongst whites, that their culture is being eroded.

In schools Christmas is no longer celebrated, but Divali and Eid are. Anything Christian or traditionally British is deemed either too white, or worse, racist. Which is of course dressed up in buzz words such as divisive, or not inclusive or diverse enough.

Griffin’s remark:

“They must acknowledge that Britain always has been, and must remain – and it’s right that it must remain – a fundamentally British and Christian country based on Western democratic values and not on the eternal values of the Qu’ran.”

Is something that many, many people agree with. I am not a Christian, but the Christian values that this country is based on, or at least were during my youth, have made me the person that I am today, hard working and law abiding. I haven’t moved to another country, I still live in the same country that my ancestors did, so why should those core values change, or indeed why should I need to change?

The point is that I shouldn’t, but we are being brow beaten into accepting other cultures being superior to our own and those that speak out are branded racist xenophobes. The problem is that there is no middle ground, there is no one else tackling these issues other than the BNP, the other parties are running scared as after 50 years of promoting ‘multicultural diversity’ they have no idea what British is anymore and are terrified of upsetting a minority.

As a black man pointed out on the show (demonstrating once again that this isn’t just a ‘white’ or ‘race’ issue), it is because no one wants to tackle immigration that the BNP are becoming more popular. They are the only ones talking of preserving British culture.

Immigration

Marek Harcar: Despite having numerous convictions for violence he had no trouble getting into Britain to commit murder. Of course now deporting him would breach his human rights!

I have never heard a convincing argument for a multicultural society. Ironically Bonnie Greer pointed out Rome as a multicultural society that flourished, stating that anyone could become a Roman citizen, regardless of race. Which was true, if they were prepared to serve a decade or more in the army. A test of loyalty and dedication that we should perhaps employ in modern Britain, that way, at least the Gurkha’s who seem to be the only people not allowed to settle here, would be allowed to settle here.

Rome eventually fell due to multiculturalism, the advantages gained by the Marius reforms were slowly diluted as more and more cultures were absorbed into the Empire and the army. By the end the Roman army was a pale shadow of its former self, Rome itself had lost many of its ideals, beliefs (adopting Christianity as the official religion for one), culture and military ethos. In the end relying on other hardy and warlike people to do the fighting for them, who then eventually turned on the weak Romans. After all, why continue to fight to protect the weak Roman culture,  when their own was superior?

There are many obvious parallels to be drawn between Rome and modern Britain but no positives that I can see. Baroness Warsi also tried to explain the positives of multiculturalism/immigration stating that ‘Britain should have the brightest and the best here’, sadly for Warsi and the other proponents of multi-ethnic Britain, it is the polar opposite that is actually happening.

We are getting the criminals, the lazy and the dregs of other societies landing here, people whom, if they were British citizens, would not get in anywhere else but here they are most welcome. People like Marek Harcar and Ali Majlat, who, when arrested,  the police in their home nations were gob smacked that they were ever allowed here. So easy is it to come here that Interpol believes that many of Europe’s most wanted criminals are hiding in plain sight in Britain.

Currently almost 20% of all the criminals locked up in British prisons are foreign nationals, and more than 20% of all British murderers are foreign nationals, this ridiculous situation cannot be allowed to continue.

Baroness Warsi and Jack Straw seemed to like the expression, ‘We cannot just pull up the drawbridge..’, well I’d like to know, if they don’t think they should pull it up now with a quarter of all criminals in Britain immigrants, just when they think it would be a good time to do so? When 50% of prisoners are foreign nationals? 80%? Or when the rest of the world decides to use as a huge Alcatraz and walls us all in?

Deporting those that have no business being here, and stopping immigrants from entering this country would cut the crime and murder rates by 20%, who would not think that was a good idea? People like Jack Straw who have round the clock protection and live in areas not affected by crime. Let’s be honest here, immigrants don’t move to the sort of areas that MPs live in, and they are not eligible for their jobs!

Jack ‘Not in the Face’ Straw

Jack Straw: Teary eyed, like his father was at the thought of having to fight those nasty Nazi’s.

I thought that Jack Straw was quite a decent, opened minded bloke, but I found his talk about Churchill and the Nazi’s sickening. He then later brought up the fact that he was from a family of Jewish immigrants, which made it all the more startling that his father had decided to sit out World War II, and leave the fighting to people like my family.

My grandfather’s brother died protecting Jack Straw’s cowardly father, yet my grandfather is a pensioner struggling on the breadline, whilst Straw, never having had to lift a finger to protect his comforts nor make the ultimate sacrifice like so many others, is now sitting pretty.

It disgusted me that he thought it OK to lecture someone else about the war, when his family did not make the sacrifices that others did, did not do their duty like others did, but reaped more of the benefits than many of the others. He tried to use his family history to point out positives of immigration but all it did was bury the argument, Straw’s family and father were content to take all the benefits of living in Britain, but not fight to defend those freedoms. Which begs the question of whether modern immigrants would follow the Straw example of loyalty.

Because that loyalty could not be relied upon, during the war in which Straw’s dad excused himself, World War II, they rounded up all the Germans in Britain and kept them in prison camps. The Americans did the same with the Japanese. Today, it would be impossible. With Britain likely to get sucked into a war in Pakistan, and with Pakistan the country of origin for most immigrants in Britain, and also most foreign nationals languishing in prison, it could be a security disaster. Indeed so lax are things here, Al Qaeda or the Taliban could very well run their war from Britain, with less fear of getting caught or even deported if they were.

Much as Straw and the others would have us think that these are simply race issues, they are not. It isn’t just a case of black and white, there are a myriad of issues to do with immigration and not least the erosion of our culture and values but also issues of security, stability and crime. The more that politicians dodge this issue, a fact which was very clear on Question Time once again, the more people will move to the BNP.

Our political leaders have basically said that it is their way or the highway, and I’m not for doing it their way.

Anglians return home to find the Taliban waiting for them

Muslim extremists shout abuse at British soldiers during home-coming march – Telegraph

A group of around 20 men in traditional Islamic dress held up banners and placards that read: “Anglian Soldiers Butchers of Basra”, “Anglian Soldiers Criminals, Murderers Terrorists” and “Baby killers”.

It must have been surreal for the Anglians; after coming home from fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan, they find the Taliban appreciation society hurling abuse at them. Another bizarre point is the appearance of the terrorist sympathisers, both the men and woman dress more devoutly than those that have been under the Taliban yoke on and off for more than a decade.

Police protection

Despite the fact that such a protest was bound to incite racial hatred and anger, they were not only allowed to proceed with their protest, they were protected by the police from any backlash. And of course there was a backlash.

In Afghanistan Muslim women are forced to cover themselves up.

Perhaps I am a little misguided, but I always thought that incitement of hatred laws were there to prevent such things, after all such a protest was going to make those that had lost loved ones in Afghanistan very angry and upset. Perhaps in my naivity I assumed that the laws applied equally to whites, and non white immigrants; I should know better.

In Britain Muslim women are more liberated and can wear what they like.

Had the situation been reversed, and the protesters were carrying anti-Muslim slogans, well it would have been riot shields and truncheons all round.

Treason

Had we a Government with any modicum of national pride, or respect for Britain; these people would have been rounded up, their spouses were conveniently at hand, and put on the first plane to Afghanistan.

It doesn’t matter whether Afghanistan is their country of origin, nor that of their parents, surely if Afghanistan were ruled by such a wise and tolerant group, such as the Taliban, there would be no complaints of them being relocated there, would there? I see no downside for them. They get to live in a Utopian society were Islam is quite literally, the law. They don’t have to worry about people insulting their religion, nor forward thinking concepts such as democracy or women’s rights. Their wives are probably a little over dressed but still.

Of course they’d hate it there, not because of the Taliban, but because they’d be expected to work to survive. I daresay most of the men, and all of the women, are on benefits. Naturally most of the men will have more than one wife, despite polygamy being illegal in Britain they can claim more benefits for more wives, despite this being against Islam (A man may only have as many wives as he can support, not the state).

If we cannot deport them to their favourite state outside of the UK, then we should try them for treason. After all treason is supporting enemies of the state, and if by their actions they are not being:

adherent to the King’s enemies in his realm

Then I am quite frankly amazed. Free speech is one thing, but when this crosses over into hate speech or treason, then something should be done.

The BNP

If people were losing their jobs for being members or even supporters of the BNP, then at the very least this lot should too, after all their group is far more insidious.

Care assistant Abu Omar, 30, said:’ If Hitler had committed those crimes noone would be cheering, and they shouldn’t just because they are British. They are 21st century Nazis.’

I cannot think of anything more annoying that a foreigner who has refused to integrate into this country comparing the grandchildren of those that fought a long and bloody war against Nazi tyranny, to Nazis.

The Nazis took control of most of Europe, executed gays, Jews and everyone else that weren’t part of their masterplan, which today would include the millions of Muslims in Europe; the British army is fighting extremists that use civilians, usually women and children, to kill themselves in their name. I think that his analogy is back to front.

Teacher Sayful Islam, self-styled leader of the Luton branch of al-Muhajiroun – the now banned radical Muslim organisation led by Sheikh Omar Bakri – was prominent amongst the demonstrators.

This man is teaching children?

He said:’ The anger has been rising up. The parade was the final insult. They have killed, maimed and raped thousands of innocent people. They can’t come here and parade where there is such a Muslim community. What do they have to be proud of?’

Another story from a few years ago has him claiming benefits, which I find far more likely. These people never work.

Sayful meets me at his semi-detached rented home in Bury Park, Luton’s Muslim neighbourhood. He no longer works, even though he is able-bodied, he admits, preferring instead to claim housing benefit and jobseeker’s allowance. He smiles sheepishly and says the irony is not lost on him that the British state is supporting him financially, even as he plots to “overthrow it”.

Sickening, and if this man is employed anywhere in this country now, he should be sacked and denied any benefits. The man is evil scum and once again I am forced to point out that plotting to overthrow the state is treason!

tolerance

There will of course be those that read about such a man and claim that we have brought such opinions upon ourselves for being such an imperial race, albeit a century ago, and for our lack of tolerance of Islam and its followers. But as The Sword of Islam himself says,

“Although I had never experienced racism in the UK, it opened the eyes of a lot of Muslims, including mine.”

Despite never being a victim of racism in Britain, he hates us all the same. These people hate Britain and all it stands for, all whilst milking the system for their own ends. They do not care that their parents left their home country for a better life, they want this country to be like their home country, a nation that they have usually rarely, if ever visited, yet see through rose tinted glasses.

Such people are enemies of the state in even the loosest definitions of the term, they should be arrested and tried for treason or better yet deported. They should not be allowed to hide behind the fact that they are British citizens, traitors forfeit that right the moment they begin plotting treason.

A pair of terrorists

Pictured: Hate preacher Abu Qatada wearing a bulging rucksack

He claims almost £8,000 a year in benefits because a serious back problem means he is supposedly unable to work.

But as these pictures show, that doesn’t stop Abu Qatada hoisting a backpack on to his shoulders – leading to calls for his disability to be investigated.

Not to mention the £800,000 house that he lives in. In all fairness it’s not everyday you see a pair of convicted terrorists walking down the street side by side, but thanks to people like Norman Kember, it could well be soon.

Kember, who provided Qatada’s bail security, probably sees nothing wrong in him falsely claiming benefits, or meeting with convicted terrorists and relaying information through him.

The man to the right is Yasser Al-Sirri, who like Qatada fled his home country to evade punishment for his part in a terrorist attack, and like Qatada he arrived on a false passport, again like Qatada Britain welcomed him with open arms, granted him asylum and has given him a council flat and benefits. Also like Qatada, Britain has refused to extradite Al-Sirri to his home country, in case he gets what he deserves.

It sickens me that we actually allow people like this to walk free. Worse, we preach to the world about terrorism, the war on terror and demand that other nations aid our counter-productive and fruitless war on terror, all whilst refusing to hand over non British citizens over to their home Government, and despite the fact that said persons have been convicted of terrorism!

Double standards or just plain stupidity?

This also surprises me:

The judges said that – even though the Home Office had an agreement that Qatada would not be harmed – some of the evidence used against him may have been obtained by torture.

Yet we extradite actual British citizens, such as Gary McKinnon, to the US, even though our own Government has stated that the US definition of torture and our own may differ, ergo they may torture suspects, and that is acceptable?

Something is seriously wrong here.

As for an asylum seeker falsely claiming benefits, well hardly a surprise is it?

Browne tries to silence critics

March 20, 2008 · Leave a Comment

I mentioned before that the coroners investigating the deaths of British soldiers keep pointing the finger at the Government and the MoD. Well, they’ve decided enough is enough! No, they aren’t going to sort out the myriad problems once and for all. They are just going to stop coroners from blaming the Government!

Daily Mail | Minister’s bid to silence coroner

The father of a soldier killed in Afghanistan attacked the Government yesterday for trying to stop coroners criticising the Ministry of Defence.

Lawyers acting for Defence Secretary Des Browne are asking the High Court to stop inquests from appearing to apportion blame.

des_browne_part-time Or at least apportion blame in their direction. A shocking move by a Government that really has done all it can to devastate the once proud British army, and then cover it up and maintain that everything is hunky dory.

This is just another example of the changing face of British politics. There was a time when politicians would take the rough with the smooth, but no longer. In the information age, they appear to be doing anything and everything they can to deny the public information on their performance and put themselves beyond reproach.

The recent business of trying to make sure that the Freedom of Information Act does not apply to MPs is one example, trying to keep secret their ludicrous expenses and increase their salaries is another.

They claim to be public servants, yet do not believe that Joe Public should be able to hold them accountable for their mistakes or inability.

browne

Des Browne, another Scot and part Secretary for Defence, is of the opinion that no one should be able to question him, or his failings. After all this isn’t the first time that Browne has cocked things up, he was almost forced to resign over the Iranian hostages debacle and refused to apologise. He’s clearly of the belief that he need answer to no one and we’re letting these idiots get away with it.

Labour let down British Troops

February 17, 2008 · 1 Comment

It’s been a claim levelled at the Labour government for years, and a claim that they have always denied, but successive coroners can’t be wrong can they? The government is failing British troops.

We’re not talking about fighting the Nazi’s war machine here, just a bunch of rebels and terrorists hiding in rural Afghanistan. Yet are we really to believe that they are better armed and better equipped than the British Army? Of course not, they aren’t that well equipped, it it just that the British Army is woefully under equipped.

Taliban Fighters

It is bad enough that we put such a low price on the risks that our servicemen take, without making them do their job lacking the basic equipment required to do it. Of course during the Cold War governments could get away with paying a poor wage, after all few were likely to see action, other than Northern Ireland, the Falklands and the Gulf War, but for the majority of the army, there was little risk the majority of the time. Since the break up of Yugoslavia there has been one dangerous peacekeeping mission after another, and it is an extremely treacherous time to be a British soldier, as is evident from the falling enlistments. A typical soldier earns just £13,000 a year to put his life on the line. A policeman earns about £23,000 a year and a fireman about £27,000.

Hardly fair is it? Particularly when you think that soldiers have a far tougher job than the other two anyway, let alone the extra risk that they take. What incentive is there other than doing it for Queen and Country? It must have been quite insulting for the soldiers to hear about police officers once again protesting over pay. Of course soldiers can’t strike either, moreover they don’t even have a union, they aren’t allowed to have one and so have no one to whinge on their behalf.

Capt James Philippson, 29, of St Albans, Herts, was the first British soldier to be killed in Helmand province. He and his colleagues were sent to fight the Taliban without night vision goggles and without adequate machine guns or grenade launchers.

Capt James PhilippsonIt goes without saying that night sight goggles are invaluable during night time engagements.
The difference, quite literally is night and day. What did the commanders who sent them out there, sharing three pairs between 20 men, expect them to do? Take it in turns to shoot? Hope that the Taliban would wait whilst they swap over?

Still, British troops managed without night vision goggles in WWII, and even in the Falklands, so they were surely trained to fight without them and as far as I know, the Taliban that they engaged didn’t have any. That does not, however, excuse the lack of other equipment. Capt Philippson’s company were also without adequate machine guns, despite requesting them and grenade launchers.

A separate inquest in Trowbridge, Wilts, heard how L/Sgt Casey, 27, from Aldershot, Hants, and L/Cpl Redpath, 22, of Romford, Essex, died when their Snatch Armoured Land Rover was hit north of the Rumaylah oilfields last August. The inquest heard that the platoon commander had asked for the more heavily protected Mastiff vehicles to be used that day but they were all being used elsewhere.

It is a standard part of army life that there isn’t always enough of the best equipment to go around, this is nothing new and it has always been this way. However we are hearing about these inadequacies more and more frequently, and they are leading to more and more deaths. Most worrying is that often these deaths aren’t caused by a lack of the best or most expensive equipment, but by a lack of basic equipment. This shows a systemic failure of the MoD to provide it, and the fault lies squarely at the feet of Gordon Brown.
